Meet our family

The Ngcethe family is origins are traced as to have started in Gwanda a town which has now the status of a city,

Gwanda is in the province of matebeleland south.at a place named gwankwe the great grand father Mthungwa had a son that he named Ngcethe sibanda who then grew up and met Mswelantu mlilo the love of his life the daughter of the great  Ndabazamanguni mlilo

It is back there in the 18th century that this empire began to sprout .

At the time of writing I did not have the date of birth and date of death for our ancestors but will try to get during my research,

It is then said that this great couple was blessed with five children their names as follows

1Tsweta Mqwayi Mponono Sibanda

2 William Sibanda

3 Tshapo Sibanda

4 Sificeni Sibanda (the only daughter )

5 Dick Sibanda (Masuku )

6 Joseph Sibanda (the last born)

NOW from here this is where the fun begins,all these six children Mary and have their own children and children of their children into this mega family that we are today which we extensively explain better in our family tree page.
